This sensor has a dual function: it can work as a switch that is activated by passing a hand in front of it or as a proximity sensor that is triggered by a door, depending on the intended use. In this way, the sensor turns the luminaire on or off when something enters its detection range of 6cm. It is ideal for use in the kitchen to turn on the light without contact or in a cabinet when opening a hinged or sliding door.
This sensor can be connected to a Smart converter via the control port, allowing simultaneous switching on and off of all the luminaires connected to the converter with a single sensor. In this type of installation, the sensor's admissible power limit is overridden, and the limit is set by the converter's maximum power.
